Graduates will be recognized at our worship service next Sunday, June 11. If you, or someone you know, have graduated from high school or college, please send that information to the church office.
Johnny Cudar will give his testimony on Sunday, May 28. Johnny has served in Kuwait for the past few months and will share some of his experiences with us.
Keenager’s will go shopping at the Tanger Outlets in Mebane, NC, Friday, May 19, leaving UGBC at 9:30am. There are several places for lunch at the Outlets so you choose where you eat. If you plan to attend please sign up in the church office or notify Linda Nelson at 336 893 8476. Everyone is welcome!
A new order of “Thank You Jesus” signs has arrived and are available for $8 each in the church office.
On Mother’s Day, May 14, we will honor and remember our mothers for their love and support in our lives. All mothers will receive a gift and all women will also receive a gift.
A Called Conference will be held on Sunday, May 7, at 11:30 am for the purpose of voting on the purchase of real estate, approximately 1.85 acres at 1600 Oak Ridge Road in Oak Ridge. The meeting has been requested by Directors Jack Pegg, Gary Spivey and Darrell Walker, Finance Committee Chair, Larry King and Treasurer, Greg Campbell. This is a milestone decision in our church life, and we encourage you to attend this important meeting.

The schedule for Easter Sunday is as follows:
8:30 am – Sunrise Service at the Cemetery
8:45 am – Breakfast in the Arbor
10:00 am – Worship Celebration
The WMU Prayer Group will again prepare and deliver Easter baskets for the homebound. We are asking church members to donate items for those baskets and place them in the box in the library by Sunday, April 9. Items needed include: travel-size toothpaste, tooth brushes, hand sanitizers, note pads, pencils and pencil sharpeners, crackers/nabs, soft candy and socks for men and women. We do not need Kleenex or soap.
Volunteers are needed on Monday, April 10 at 10:00 am to prepare the baskets and take them to homebound members. Thank you for your donations and help.
