Union Grove will host a Family Fall Festival on Sunday, October 22, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Details will follow soon.
Union Grove will participate in the Fair Ministry this year by donating bottled water for the Fair workers who set up the operations of the Fair. Please bring bottled water (16.9 oz.) to the church by September 23. Take your water to the room on the left as you enter the church. Thank you for your donation. It is very much appreciated.
Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 1, for our 106th homecoming celebration at 10:00 a.m. A special service and music will make for a joyful occasion. Following the service we will have a covered dish luncheon and invite everyone to come and enjoy the fellowship and greet former members and friends. Sunday School classes will not meet on this day.
Union Grove Baptist Church will be presenting our Christmas Cantata on Sunday, December 17 at 5:00 p.m. Please come and enjoy the musical worship of Christ.
Union Grove Baptist Church will have our annual Hanging of the Greens Service on December 3.
The Milan Hays Singers will be our featured musicians at Union Grove on Sunday, December 3. Service begins at 10:00 a.m. and there will be no Sunday School.
Thursday, September 21 Keenager’s will tour “Old Hillsboro” a tour of the town in Hillsborough, NC. Our first stop will be the Visitors Center where a tour guide will board our van and give us a tour of historic places for a cost of $6.00 per person(money collected that day). After the tour we will have lunch at Saratoga Grill. Van leaves UGBC at 10:00am. Please sign up in the church office or notify Linda Nelson 336 893 8476 if you plan to attend. Everyone welcome!
Thursday, July 20, Keenagers will have lunch at Judges Riverside Restaurant in Morganton, NC. Van will leave UGBC at 9:30am. If you plan to attend please sign up in the church office or notify Linda Nelson 336 893 8476.
There are seven leaves available on the Arbor Tree at a cost of $50 each. If you would like to order one, list the name of the person/persons being honored or remembered along with the donor’s name and place it in the offering plate. This will be the last leaves ordered until a new “branch” is necessary. These funds are applied to the Arbor account.
Keenagers will go to Dennis and Cheryl Gravley’s place at Belews Creek on Friday, June 23. The van will leave at 10:00 am. We will stop at their place, take vans to Humphrey’s Restaurant for lunch, and then return for homemade ice cream.
