A Note From Pastor
Last year at this time I was in the hospital for a month with Covid. I did not go to church until May. Let’s not take our church for granted. Here’s a poem I hope will speak to our hearts:
I WANT TO GO TO CHURCH.
Not for tradition. Not for show. Not for entertainment.
BUT TO WORSHIP MY GOD.
Expecting Him to speak to me. Gathering with others who love Him, as we are called to do. Spending time in prayer. Praising Him through music, as they did long ago. Confessing my sins and struggles. Laying down my burdens, knowing that He will willingly take them. Thanking Him for the most precious gifts in my life. Begging Him to soften the hearts of those who haven’t accepted Him. Feeling His never-ending perfect love wash over me.
I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord. Psalm 122:1
